A sandal is the only shoe you need this summer. I mean, it's easy, breezy, breathable and humble. You can have your day planned like this; simple sliders for Saturday errands, something sexy for the evening, your comfiest leather pair for a Sunday brunch situation. But who has time to start flipping pages, searching through thousands of new styles this season has to offer? Definitely not you-you've got brunching to do.


To make your shopping easier, we've journeyed across stars (Hhaha...really Daniel, a StarTrek phrase? Sorry don't mind me, I got carried away). Yeah! we've trawled the SS19 runways to be precise to pick out this year's top 3 sandal trends, bound to be seen on the feet of all your favorite insta girls.


1. Minimalism



If you invest in only one sandal trend this year, it better be minimalism. Think of this, You in a simple leather slides in buttery brown leather looking great with a tan and summer whites. Hmm... fantastica! Go for bold, unique shapes and metal detailing for extra interest.

4. Lace Up



What a week! Ok, more what a couple of months. And what a reminder that perfection is something that cannot be rushed, especially when creating a product that is made by hand. Which for someone as impatient as me .... is.... well, let’s just say many deep breaths have been conducted! It’s crazy to think that this journey started only a few months ago and the reaction from day one has been overwhelming. I admit, due to the reaction I was tempted to rush to get the collection out, but I am so grateful I did not and have been able to develop not only the quality and design, but also myself and my knowledge. I’m even going to be physically making my own sample with my actual hands next week!? Hey, if you’re going to design effectively you need to truly understand how the construction works also. It was the same when I ran tech teams globally (in that previous life of mine); I literally spent 3 months training as a coder. Full stack. So I’m not talking just some HTML, I’m talking JavaScript, MEAN stack, Node, Ruby on Rails.... don’t get me wrong. I was pretty bloody rubbish compared to the physicists who sat alongside me on that course, but by understanding how to code and build a product, I was a much better project manager and strategist. So for now lovely lot, wish me luck and I cannot wait to share with you all that has been happening behind the scenes and as such, what will be happening in the coming months. It’s been a truly life changing and affirming time for me and I am so proud and grateful for all you support (and patience!!) Emily x
